The Value of a Rural Estate Report
We were pleased to see the publication of a new study by Dr Aoife Maher and Professor Michael Winter from the University of Exeter in August 2026, exploring the social and economic value generated by Clinton Devon Estates.
The research highlights the Estate’s positive contribution to Devon’s local economy, environment and communities. The study recognises our support for local businesses and livelihoods, public access to nature, affordable housing, volunteering, education and community engagement, alongside major projects such as the Lower Otter Restoration Project and Pebblebed Heaths National Nature Reserve.
