Rob Coventry

Rob joined Clinton Devon Estates as Head of Forestry and Reserves in August 2024. He leads the teams managing the Estate’s FSC certified woodlands and National Nature Reserves.

Rob studied Forest and Nature management in Germany and Denmark before working in various roles across research and policy with the Forestry Commission. He is a Chartered Forester and prior to joining the Estate worked in private practice delivering forest management and consultancy on a range of Estates centering around the greensand ridge on the Somerset-Wiltshire border. He has extensive experience in single-tree selection silviculture.

Outside of work Rob enjoys cycling, mountaineering and exploring Devon’s coastline with his young family.
